Upping Your Car’s Horsepower Mechanically and Chemically

Upping Your Car’s Horsepower Mechanically and Chemically

Sometimes you get the itch to improve your car’s performance. Sometimes you have to, because of engine and transmission wear and mileage problems. The following tips cover what to do to Hot Rod your car, as well as what new products end both wear and mileage power loss problems, to restore your car’s lost power and extend your car’s life and dependability.

Let us consider the 4 ways to improve your cars horsepower.

  1. One way to significantly increase power is by adding one or more special power-improving devices. One of these device is called a racing engine cam. This internal engine device replaces the factory original cam, and allows much more fuel to enter the combustion cycle – thereby producing more horsepower. You select the amount of power improvement from a catalog listing. Price range about $450 up.
  2. Another big power booster is called a supercharger. At a $3500 plus price range. This add-on device is a special fan or pump made to force twice as much fuel and air into the motor – for a huge power improving gain. Both race cam and supercharger are usually installed for maximum power and speed development.
  3. Many new cars have superchargers installed at the factory. For car racing, of course, race car owners add the above items, as the way for more power increasing advantages. But look for new and used cars with a supercharger factory installed. Think “factory hot rodding.” Check the brand of car you’re thinking of buying by looking into internet forums for negative talk, so you won’t buy a troublesome model. Adds about $2500 to the car price, or more.
  4. Using a new breed of additives from Mega Power to restore lost horsepower caused by wear and residues. Several wear and residue conditions in your engine and transmission, occurring mid way through your vehicles life. When a motor begins the downward loss of horsepower and performances, Mega Power is what many smart car owners used to restore their cars power.Mega Power is installed in newer vehicles to keep them new indefinitely.

Your driveway and your car may show one sign of wear and an early stage of power loss is on the rise. Early signs of wear include oil drippings on your driveway. Other signs include your motor’s exhaust. As pistons suck up motor oil, burn it, and pump out a bit of smoke. Your motor’s oil level will drop a quart or two between oil changes. Blowby, a term for combustion escape, and its fumes are present.

Other signs are that motor noise will increase. Tapping of sticky valves and valve lifters is common. Sounds like a hammer is on the loose in your motor. Your transmissions will shift harder, or slower. Those are all signs of wear a product called Mega Power will end. Mega Power works equally well to end transmission problems, too. Those condition deter full power development.

As wear increases, so does friction and friction absorbs power that use to add to your car zip and performance. Each sign shows an expensive overhaul will soon be called for to remedy the problem. Overhaul cost runs over $3000. And this is where Mega Power is often called upon to help avoid, or put off that need for several more years. Mega Power is not as costly. About $150, and is a choice thousands of car owners are choosing. Cheaper if you installed it yourself. It’s easy to do so.

How Mega Power works to octane boost. Octane boost is a caustic additive that gives fuel a boost in power. It is not good for today’s motors. Mega Power restores your motor’s lost horsepower by ending friction wear and residue power robbing problems. 6 items are called upon, and included as a complete Mega Power Motor Treatment. 3 items are installed for top of motor cleaning and freeing of rings and valves, and other components. 3 are for lower motor cleaning of the oiling system.

While most additives are solvent cleaner based, which are harmful to today’s motors, or thick like molasses, and can block oil delivery, Mega Power is a thin, anti-wear substance that can go where oil, even synthetic oils cannot, to undue wear, and residue power decline problems.

Included in this treatment to also restore lost power in your motor are friction reducing factors MC+. After cleaning and freeing conditioners do their thing, MC+ smoothes your wear roughen, friction heavy, piston, bearing, valve, and gear surfaces. Then the MC+ adds a protective slippery film which fills your motor’s worn spaces. All this is complex Hi-tech chemistry to restore your cars former like near new power and zip. Yet it is easy to install. And anyone can installed the product. Driving then does the actual restore.

Conclusion.

Sometimes you get the itch to improve your cars performance. Sometimes you have too because it needs a little help. See your local mechanic for local advice on Hot Rod type improvements and tips. For more information about Mega Power’s Motor and Transmission Treatment, see the links below.

I hope all this helps you get new or lost horsepower, and have better running cars, equipment, and RV’s… by adding to your knowledge and driving pleasure… George

    Hello,

I’ve had Honda Civic FD 2.0. I feel that fuel consumption is quite high. My fren drive Toyota Hilux can get more mileage than mine.

    1. I would like to install HKS magnetic (red color) but advised by two car workshops better not to install it because it will effect the fuel flow to car engine, thus will effect the car computer/ECU. Is that really true?

    2. Honda Civic FD 1.8 has better fuel consumption that FD 2.0cc, can i setting the car ECU (0-60km/h) same with 1.8 but 60km/h till max still same as ori? Reason is normally 0-60km/h is for town/urban driving, doesnt need ‘power’.

Please advise if you can, thanks.

      Hi Abdullah,
thanks for drop by. Below is my opinions for your questions:
      1) Personally I don’t think those few magnetic pieces can help us to save fuel. Don’t waste the money on those aftermarket accessories.
      2) ECU remapping will void the warranty of Honda that given to you. Moreover, ECU from Honda has being optimized to fuel efficiency by various expert engineers in Honda. Unless you want to have better performance, which might damage the car engine, else remapping the ECU is no no to us..

There are various ways to improve your fuel efficiency, try read this: http://www.carreviewsncare.com/proven-methods-to-achieve-best-fuel-efficient/
You may try reset your car ECU too, by disconnect the car battery from the car for about 5 minutes then your ECU will relearn again your new driving habit and optimized accordingly…
